My Fitness Journey

My love affair with health and fitness began at the young age of 18. A freshman at University, I found myself where most of us do, no longer a part of organized sports or involved in any sort physical activity. This seemed like a new world to me as athleticism always appeared to come naturally to me. So when I had no activity to engage in, I felt lost –both mentally and physically.

This was when I stumbled upon fitness. At first, I would only go to the gym with my floor mates for the social aspect – maybe run on the treadmill for 30 minutes followed by some stretching and abs. I didn’t know much about health or fitness, and it seemed like such a daunting task to take my health into my hands. After some gained confidence through research and picking the brains of other ‘fitness gurus’ I started to learn (little by little) how to properly fuel my body and execute a workout properly.

Six years later at the age of 24, my knowledge has grown exponentially and shows no signs of slowing down. Every day I aim to acquire new knowledge about health and fitness that can further serve as a tool for everyone along their journey. Gaining enough experience over the years, I can confidently say that I aim to provide you with insight and understanding into the health and fitness industry.
